This mower has definitely seen better days, and I would like to start doing some of the repairs that the previous owner neglected. The first problem I am having is with the ground speed control lever. The linkage rod just seems to bend instead of applying pressure to the drive belt, and the mower does not move very fast, and wont pull its self up hill. I see that there are two adjustment but have had no luck increasing the tension to the drive belt. I have tried getting a repair manual from Jacobsen Publication Zone on-line, but I cant locate my model. I was hoping to find a .pdf version of the repaid manual if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be cool.
